The Quilter's Guild of Parker County is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created for the purpose of preserving the art of quilting in the local community.
Funds raised by the Quilter’s Guild of
Parker County go to support of the Parker County Meals On Wheels
program, in addition to supporting education of our Guild members.We have an on-going, year round food drive
(concentrating on protein) to help support the Meals On Wheels pantry.
Our own Comfort Quilts Program provides quilts made by our membership to local
children and to nursing home residents.
Members have the opportunity
to participate in guild activities which are interactive with the Parker
County community. Past events include
Weatherford Blooms, Shaw Kemp Gathering, Spring Creek Festival, Parker County
Peach Festival and the Cowboy Gathering.
Our annual Senior Center quilt show and auction are the Guild’s biggest
events.
It is our hope that as our
organization grows, so will our community outreach grow.
