Quilter's Guild of Parker County
about our guild
The Quilter’s Guild of Parker County extends fellowship among quilters and provides donations of quilts and funds to organizations in the Parker County community. The Guild was established in February 2000 by an enthusiastic group of quilters with a desire to keep the art of quilting alive in Parker County.
The mission of the Guild is to preserve the art of quilt making and stimulate interest in Quilts. The Guild provides assistance to the community in areas concerning the art of quilting. The Guild strives to educate its members and the public by providing instruction and fellowship for persons interested in quilting.
The Guild holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of the each month. In even numbered years there is a Quilt Show and in odd numbered years we hold a Quilt Auction. The Guild offers workshops for members and the public. Members are encouraged to join a Quilting Bee, make new friends and learn new techniques.
